What....it has been a year???

Its been almost a year since B popped the question! Crazy to think of it that way! I can't believe how fast things this year have gone! I've had so much to look forward to so I feel like it shouldn't have gone this fast...we are in the home stretch to the wedding...less than 5 months! Can you believe it?!

I can not!

I have a crazy amount left to do!!! I've never done this before and I'm doing it on my own with bits of help from future MIL and my own mom. Yet my mom likes to say "whatever you want", not giving me her own opinion! So MIL has been great!!!

If there were any details at your weddings, or weddings you've been to that i could have possibly over looked...please please comment!! Let me know!!! I"m in need of guidance!!!

Other than then final touches on the wedding..my job is still going great and I'm really beginning to learn the Cincinnati area. I got myself from work to the airport last week without the GPS!!! Talk about awesome!!!! And I had only been that way once before, back in October!

Anyway!!!

I'm off to bed!!!

I hope all had an amazingly merry Christmas and a Blessed new year!!!

We didn't have a large ceremony (with only family and really close friends). Just a short vow exchange, really short reception and then back to our house to "sleep" (I was also really sick during the wedding, so I may have not absorbed the memories due to medications I was on)... I wish I could give more advice, but I can't. The responsibilities for our wedding were split between different family members who would be there (my parent's took care of the guest book and such; my aunt took care of the cake and my bouquet; I bought the dress; hubby's parents took care of the flowers; my dad did the music; etc)I was also very young (19) and had never been to a big wedding, so I didn't even know how it "should" have been. We'll probably end up renewing our vows at some point, and we'll do it right then, but all I really cared about at the time was getting married. I didn't really stress about it, but then again, I didn't have anything to stress about.

Sorry about the novel, and I hope your wedding is beautiful and you and your fiance are happy :)

I know you don't know me but I'm currently planning my wedding and I'm pretty detailed with everything. If you have any questions or need any guidance- let me know.

We're having our reception at a residence and so we have to bring in EVERYTHING from the tables to the forks to the trash cans. I was just thinking about things today like making sure there are ashtrays outside, enough lighters to light the candles, paper towels for the bathrooms, etc. There are so many little things that are so easy to forget about! I LOVE planning though so I'm happy to offer any suggestions if you are interested.
