Really lady you are S-T-U-P-I-D!

Yes I spelled it out..we don't say that word in our house!!!

So the radio station I listen to some mornings has this thing called "Open Mic Line", they let callers call in and vent or say whatever and it goes on air. Well yesterday morning I hear this lady call in and this is what she says:

"yeah, this is for the other lady that called Obama the anti-Christ, why should health insurance not be a law, you are required by law to have car insurance...isn't your body more important than your car?"

SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes your body is more important than your car...but frankly stupid lazy lady, I don't care what you do with your body. I do however care if you rear-end me while I'm sitting at a red light and you don't have car insurance. That affects me, and that my dear, is why car insurance is required by law. In another incident if you broke your arm because you were jumping on a trampoline or whatever, that does not affect me. I am not out anything because your lazy butt fell and got hurt. If you rear-end me I am out the damage to the car and to my body because I was following traffic laws and stopping at a red light.

Do you see the difference???

As someone who works in health care and receives health care, I do believe that there needs to be some health care reform. What Obama proposed and S-T-U-P-I-D I-D-O-I-T-S in Washington passed this week IS NOT IT!!!!!!!!! This will not help our country...you really think that the doctors who paid Thousands of $$ to go to school to provide, you the general public, with that health care are going to continue to work like they have been? Um no...its not that simple. Yes, they chose to go into that profession and I chose mine, but if we all sat around and were lazy like Rod in Norwood (he is another frequent caller on another radio station..BTW he doesn't report his income to the IRS..he runs a daycare..would not trust this man with my pet rock!),who just continues to make babies with his "woman" yet the only reason he can afford to have those babies is because of the government, there would be NO MONEY in the system for your babies, then what would you do??

(no i don't really have a pet rock but if I didn't...I would not Rod watch it.)

Excuse me but I think it is stupid that I have to pay for someone to have 6 or 7 children, because they can't afford their hospital bills...have we heard of SEX EDUCATION??

I'd understand if you didn't know where babies come from for the first child...but really after 6 we should have this figured out okay!!!

And another thing!

Since I really can't change the world...when am I going to see some of the benefits I'm working so hard to give money to?

Cash for clunker appliances?...we just bought a new washer and dryer...because we didn't have one at all...but we can't get that benefit because you have to be REPLACING an existing unit. We could have went non-energy star right? we didn't...

The new home buyer tax-credit/existing-homeowner tax credit: well we can't have that A) B owns a condo..not a new home buyer...and B has only owned that condo for 3 years...not the required 5..

And the New Student Loan cap thing..that was passed with the stupid Obama care bill...doesn't start until 2014..I'm not sure on this..but I don't think passed graduates will qualify...I'm thinking..it will take effect then for current college graduates...does anyone know??

I'm going to leave you now with one more thing, an email I received..that is a true story:

Obamanomics 101

This man is truly a genius! An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A... After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that. (Please pass this on) Remember, there is a mid-term election in 2010! Hmm..

I'm in the mood to post, but I don't have a lot to say. 

B and I had a rough patch last week, things are better, we've talked things out and have promised to work on issues. 

I went to therapy today, that was alright. 

One more day to election day! I'm so sick of the ads. How can Al Franken say he is better for senate because he didn't vote on the bail out bill. WELL NO SHIT AL! Last I heard you AREN'T IN OFFICE YET!!!! You can't vote for it if you aren't in the senate!!!

Also, I'm still really struggling with why people think OBAMA is so great? He is going to give money from the hard working folks to those to lazy to get off their asses? 

I'm not saying McCain is really the greatest choice for President either, but really why do you think that is fair? I don't have a real job yet, but honestly I don't want your money random person making to much money. I want to work to get my own, or get married and have B's (lol!) . If that's the case and we get married and I don't have to go to a real job, I'll be a stay at home mom working my ass off anyway. Being a SAHM is a rough job I'm sure, especially when your husband is a pilot. 

On another election note my aunt is up for election in MN Supreme Court Seat 4. (for you MN readers the incumbent, she doesn't necessarily share all my opinions, and when asked her political affiliation she will just tell you she is not at liberty to say, but she believes in enforcing the law, SHE DOES NOT MAKE THEM!) She would appreciate your vote!

A's bday is tomorrow! Hard to believe that little boy has been in my life for three years. He is the sweetest and most well behaved three year old I know! Its crazy to see how much he has changed in the last year since B's family has had temp. custody. B and his family go to court for custody on Thursday. I know whatever is best for A will happen, but I just hope its what is best for B and his family as well as Me. :D

My Birthday is coming up. Just an FYI, Nov. 13. I'm crazy excited for it, no plans yet, but I love my birthday.

Anyway I thought I had nothing to blog about, but I guess I did once my fingers started typing. 

Pathology test tomorrow....I hope I don't fail this one too!

Largest Re-enlistment Ceremony - Ever

I'm sure you already know about this. It was shown over and over on TV, right? 

OK, so maybe it wasn't shown over and over, but surely it was shown on TV at least one time, wasn't it ?
This was the largest re-enlistment ceremony ever held in military history. The ceremony was held on the 4th of July, 2008 at Al Faw Palace, Baghdad , Iraq . General David Petraeus officiated. This amazing story was ignored by the 'mainstream' media. For those who have been in the Al Faw Palace, you'll have a better appreciation of the number of people crammed around the rotunda supporting the re-enlisting soldiers.

American men and women volunteering to stay longer in Iraq, so that when we leave, the new democracy will have a chance of surviving, is the exact opposite of what the media wants you to think about Iraq. If only a bomb had killed 5 civilians in a marketplace - now that's the kind of news the media is eager to
tell you about. 

A pizzeria in Chicago donated 2000 pizzas that were made and shipped to Baghdad, and were delivered on the 4th.  The media did report that 2000 pizzas were sent to Iraq on July 4th... The only part they left out of the report was the event for which the pizzas were sent. 
I can't help but wonder...
What would the opinion of Americans be if they weren't getting
such obviously biased 'news?'

Lately, I've been reading John McCain's daugheter's Blog and I found this video on it this weekend. And I figured out how to link a youtube video in to my blog so I'm going to share it. For those of you this offend's I'm sorry. I like the video, I like the message, and if you stop reading my blog because I've voting McCain/Palin, that is your choice, as it is mine to vote for who I want to vote for.
